Lacoste

Rene Lacoste was a french tennis player in the 1920's, and part of the famous "Musketeers" team that won the Davis Cup off the Americans for the first time in 1927. The logo or emblem on all Lacoste footwear is the 'crocodile', which all came about from the story that the captain of the French Davis Cup team had promised to buy him an alligator skin suitcase if he won an important tie. Lacoste trainers have made the transition from tennis court to casual classics with ease, and the two most popular models are Lacoste Camden and Lacoste Carnaby, both stocked at Trainerstation.
